Service Options
Alpha offers Alpha ATS Subscribers multiple methods of connectivity to meet their business needs.
Specifically, the trading engine supports order entry through both a FIX 4.2 protocol, and an Alpha native, low-latency protocol for high-frequency trading. Each can be supported by several managed network connection options based upon each Subscriber’s specific needs and situation:
- Co-location and cross connect
- Third Party leased lines
- Connections through Third Party extranets
Each of these options presents a different cost / benefit profile. It also allows Subscribers to leverage their existing network infrastructure in the most optimal way.
